VM debug trace? 3

Avaya have asked for a debug trace of VM Pro to help with another issue I have posted on here.....I don't know how to do a Debug trace of VM Pro, I have looked at all the monitor programmes you get and that's not what they want! Any ideas? Any help appreciated.

Get dbgview.exe and .dll from an admin cd.

Drop it on the root c:

Open dgbview.exe from c: and go into the debug filters.

Highlight the vmpro service and set the trace level to 9.

Bobs your uncle.

There is a 4 meg buffer on dbgview so stop it once you have captured the issue.

Any idea what the dll is for? (or whether it is required?)

I've been using dbgView.exe for some time now without it.

Not sure.

DBG view is not an Avaya app so it may be needed when tracing other things.

It may be that vm pro has something in it that means you might not need that in this scenario.

Had to download this in the end as that .exe was not on the Admin cd or user or Vm cd, also downloaded softare again and again no Debug view! Searched correctly by exploring the cd and using search tool on it! Oh well got there in the end!
