VLAN Trunking over Wireless P to MP

I posted this question once before, but got no response.

Has anyone ever attempted to trunk between switches, over a wireless access point, in a point to multi-point configuration?

Cisco says it should work without issue, but we seem to have problems trunking over a wireless system. We have a wireless access point serving three 2950 switches. Each port facing the access point is set to trunk, and auto negotiates just fine to the subscriber modules (remote radios).
Even in auto mode, the switches auto trunk and pass VTP information.

Any experience with this?
