Hello everyone,

We have a Catalyst 3548-XL running 12.0(5.2)XU Enterprise. I used to be able to manage it from my browser.

I hadn't connected in a while, and when I try now, the java applet loads and draws the interface correctly, but then a popup comes up with the following message: Visual Switch Manager has detected a change in the device's hardware configuration and needs to redraw the device[/color red]. I click OK, it redraws the device, and the popup comes up again immediately.

The only change I can think of was having added a while ago a 1Gb port, and everything has been working fine since then.

Never had this before, and don't know how to make it stop. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Check the minimum IOS Release Required. A listing should have come with the port. My 3548XL's require IOS 12.0(5)WC3.
