VISUAL INTERDEV and IIS 5.0

TO CREATE A WEB SITE QUESTION IS:
Should I create a web site thru IIS 5.0
OR
Should i create a new project in visual interdev
cause VI create a virtual directory
WHAT IS THE BEST APPROACH? I HAVE WINSK SERVER AND VISUAL INTERDEV - WHAT TO HOST WEB SITES FOR LOCAL BUSINESS?

from my experience
install the IIS5 but recommend to install the web services only since IIS always be the components attacked by the hackers.

if your web server host is just for your company only, it is unnecessary to create the virtual directory.

but if it is a host for user to put their hp, then it is necessary to create the virtual directory

at last, visual interdev is a development tool only. not too much related with hosting a web site. however, i don;t recommend you to use it since i think it is not good in using
