I went into production Aug 11, 1001, with a large application (500,000 lines of code) converted from 2.6a to 6.0. The code is exactly the same it has just been recompiled into 6.0. Every thing is working great! The only problem encountered is the 6.0 version performs some tasks slower then the 2.6.

Anyone have any idea or performance information on the 6.0 version?

After a thousand + years, I'd figure you'd have discovered a few "tricks" <g>.

Actually I've found one of the biggest improvements is to add more memory if the workstations don't have at least 128MB. VFP, like it predecessors, needs lots of memory to do it's best, and it's runtime has a "footprint" that takes more memory. Remember it's also got a lot more code to do things you probably aren't taking advantage of (yet).

Have you looked at Chapter 15 in the Programmer's Guide to VFP 6.0? Maybe you'll find something there which would help.
