Hi all,

Just a quick thanks to everybody and an update on my quest to utilize visual foxpro as a server for my PDA. After much work, the teck support people at Syware figured the problem was with some built in limitations to Windows Mobile OS, second edition, in that only about 200 or so fields can be updated without a database system crash. However, it appears that I can use the relational abilities of vfp and visual ce to reduce my file size. So, in short, I found the wheels and can use the PDA in one room and access the vfp server in another via 802.11b wireless!

Winscock programming is certainly what I need as so many of you have pointed out...I'm just short for time.

A sincere thanks to all,
Alan
