Visual c++ runtime error Outlook 2

Had this problem today. Here are the two things I tried adn the a simple Critical Update fixed the problem. Make sure all critical updates are performed. I was running Win2K Pro and Office XP.

Run Windows update and install security patches! Some people choose not to keep updated, but just a friendly reminder, you should. Goes without saying I know, but hey it happeneds, especially if it's not your computer.

What is the exact error, is it occuring all the time, what are you using as your mail editor, do you have any custom forms enabled, do you have any outlook addins?

The exact error and Microsoft article I posted address all these issues pretaining to add-ins, forms .....
