Had to re-install XP on a dual boot machine (Vista and XP) now I am missing the Vista boot option on startup.

I think I know what I've done? re-written the MBR so now the bootloader only see's XP? but can someone walk me through the easiest process (I'm hardware not software so step by step)to get Vista boot option back on start up.
I've seen some software that does it for you but I've read it's simple but can't quite get my head around it.
P45 Intel motherboard running:
1TB drive dual boot, partitioned 50/50 (XP PRO on C, Vista on E)
Cheers.

See if Vista's Startup Repair can do it for you.

Startup Repair is a Windows recovery tool that can fix certain problems, such as missing or damaged system files, that might prevent Windows from starting.

As Linney pointed out, the build in VISTA StartUp repair, will square it away... (second LINK)...

The MBR was not the only problem that got erased, by the install of XP, but the BOOT files that resided on the XP partition...

Vista will install it's boot files onto an existing XP partition, replaces the BOOT BLOCKS which tell it what files to load, etc., and thus VISTA disappears...
