Vista MCE, TVedia and MCE Remote Control

I have a Vista based media cente (just built) using TVedia as my interface for music, tv etc. TVedia running on XP would allow me to use the 'triple-tap' text input function of the MCE remote control, however, running on Vista this function is no longer available.

Question: Has anyone else come across this/got any bright ideas as to how to get round it?

Have tried running TVedia in compatibility mode for XP SP2 but that has not cured it.

I realise this isn't the mmost common media interface I'm using here and that it's a bit of a long shot but hey!... if you don't ask you don't get.

No worries... solved by installing a free app 'Remote KC'.
More of a workaround than a solution but nonetheless sorted.

Triple-tap text input now works at treat.
