Visa machine Connection 1

I have an s8300 media server on G700 with 3 analogue cards mm714, I am trying to move 3 visa swipe machines onto the pbx instead of direct BT lines, I have connected the machines , but they will not dial out. The PBX connects to BT using ISDN30.

Any help would be great ???

A. Do you get dial tone from the line when you plug your butt set in.

B. Is the visa machine set up to dial 9 to get an outside line.

I've had the same issue in the past - never got around it. Some modem's etc work ok but other credit card machines etc would only work with a standard BT PSTN line. Was advised by 3rd part companies who we were trying to connect to that they would only accept connections from lines not connected to a PBX.

I get dial tone ok and can dial out no problems using a normal analog phone.

the system is set up with a 9 and using the call logger the call is attempting to go out. i get a line busy from the visa machine

do a list trace when dialing out with the visa machines and see what the machine is dialing
