VIRUSSCAN 8 and XP sp2?

in the mcafee KB says that the product is fully compatible but i doubt it quite a lot
has anyone had any experiences with this combination??

I was running the betas of both together without a problem but I have wiped that box since and haven't put sp2 back on it yet to find out what happens with the full release.

Been running this combination since the beta version of SP2 with no problems at all. I now have the release version of both and still no problems.

Have been running both in beta nd now final releases, no problems until now. We rolled it out to a couple of test users to try. This is still running.

Keep in mind that a couple of things that are new in XP SP2 overlap 8.0i. Like buffer overlfow protection (McAfee)and DEP (Microsoft), the firewall in SP2 and in 8.0i.

Do you want to use all of them? You also need to configure all of them..............
