Virtualpc 2007 Server2003 Windows98

If W98 cannot join a Server2003 domain and XP can, if on the XP machine Virtualpc2007 installed and running W98 (for a legacy app), can the app running in the W98 VM read/write to domain storage?

I have not tried this yet, just asking.
