Virtual Serial Ports?

Has anyone had any luck using virtual serial ports or virtual null modem cables over ethernet?
I have over 100 Norstars each with a POTS line. Each system is on our private network so IP addresses are no issue.

I want to use NRU, get rid of the POTS and save $$.
Any info and brand names greatly appreciated.

I used Digi One SP in the past on Norstar before we start deploying BCM50.

I have looked and looked. How does this work? If I build a site for direct connect there is no way to specify what site I would connect to.

Any more information?
