I have a Window 2003 Server Enterprise Edition R2 setup as a DC on Virtual PC. I also have 2 Windows XP machines that I setup as PCs on this virtual domain.
As long as I setup them up as Local Only and configure a static IP on them they were able to join and communicate with the DC fine.

Going forward, I would like to setup both PCs to use DHCP and browse the Internet. (Currently can not since I had to set them up to use a "Local Only" connection.) I would also like to add an additional virtual IIS server facing outwards to serve some HTML pages. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for your time!

Hi
Yes, it's possible to have an IIS in Virtual OS's. I also did this. I installed a Virtual Windows XP Professional and I installed IIS over it.

If you make the computers member of a same WorkGroup, and also their IP Addresses to be in the same range (subnet), you can access IIS Installed on other PC (or Virtual Machine). By using / Or
But I'm wondering how you could install 2 Windows XP's over Virtual PC and run them at the same time ?

I can't run more than 1 OS in my Virtual PC.
