Virtual Memory Problem

Howdy,

I've got a bit of a problem - within the last few days I keep having this appear "Your system is low on virtual memory...windows increasing etc etc"

I've never had this before, and it is really slowing things down!
My system is 2600ghz, 512mb ram - 80gb HDD (using only 10gb)
I run NIS (Norton Internet Security) with liveupdate as well..


Anyone got any info that may solve this damn problem?

Thanks for that, although I've tried what they say, but I'm still not having any luck..Everytime I boot up I get the "windows low on virtual memory - now going to increase etc"..

Anymore suggestions?

It looks like I'll have to format the drive and start from scratch.
