This is scary:
This means anything can be compromised undetectably. The only way around it appears to be the "trusted" hardware stuff AMD and Intel are working on. Unfortunately, that stuff is likely to lock us into all kinds of DRM as well. Looks like we could all be doomed to a choice between two evils.
