Virtual Extension CDR data

Does anyone know if calls to extensions with set type "virtual" send CDR data to call accounting? I'll know soon enough if my customer's call accounting software shuts down due to exceeding it's license. I've tried blocking CDR by setting CDR privacy and restricting data on the station and COR forms, but the CDR picks up and the extension and sends it to the call accounting data base when other users call that extension.

if its about internal calls check you intraswitch-cdr

If there is a coverage remote for that extension you always will have a cdr string for each call.

I looked at intra-switch CDR, but that appears to be for adding tracking to numbers that normally don't send CDR data. I need to do the opposite. However, one thing I saw which looks like a mistake on my part, is that when I set the individual extensions to CDR privacy, I did not go into the system-parameters-CDR form and set the privacy-digits to hide. It was set to defualt of 0, which I expect means that even though I set CDR privacy on the station form, I wasn't actually masking any digits.

Stations adminstered as "virtual" don't have a secind page or a CDR privacy setting. That's why I assume that they don't send CDR data.

I suppose if I wanted them to send CDR data, I'd add them to Intra-Switch CDR table.
