Hi, if I backup the VIO server to file, backupios -f /mnt, it creates and empty directory structure but doesn't fail:

$ ls -R /mnt/data_278560
SPOT
/mnt/data_278560/SPOT:
usr

/mnt/data_278560/SPOT/usr:
lib

/mnt/data_278560/SPOT/usr/lib:
boot

/mnt/data_278560/SPOT/usr/lib/boot:
network

/mnt/data_278560/SPOT/usr/lib/boot/network:
$

What's that about?

Cheers

That's interesting.

Isn't it backupios -file /mnt/filename. It should create a .tar file.

I've been doing it to tape and have restored successfully several times.

Ahh... It's the nimresources.tar. Weird.

Thanks
