Can anyone help ?

I am using outlook for file management and viewing the web -but one thing that gets my goat is that when viewing e-mails in the preview pane, you click on a hyperlink and the bugger opens up Internet Explorer rather than using Outlook. Anyone know how I can stop this act of war ?!

cheers

That is by design. Windows looks at the http command which triggers the file association URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol. Windows looks what command line it is supposed to run for the file association(which is typcially the command line for your default browser) and opens the web page via the browser. joegz
