Viewing records in subform - Access XP

Hi all

I have a main form with a linked subform. The subform shows monthly submission dates for a document number. Is it possible to see only the record with the most recent submission date? The subform is based on a table. Thanks in advance for the assistance - this site has been a lifesaver....
