Viewing digits leaving R300

Can someone tell me how to view digits *leaving* an R300. I can see all digits leaving my G3si v9 but AT&T is reporting digits are being dropped (not due to route-pattern).

i.e. I dial 876.543.7654 and AT&T sees 8 6.543.7 54.

Any how..a list trace stat shows what's being passed. R300 may not be sending all digits and I'd like to be able to see, if possible, if it is doing so.

Thanks,

Telnet into the R300. Tab to the right side middle window. This windows informs you of call setup and digits. While your in that window use the arrow key to peek around and see what you can find.

Thanks

Thanks,

I was able to see which digits the definity dialed to the R300 (00-200 box). This tells me the Definity is sending everything, however, I'm not sure that this tells me that the R300 is actually *sending* all those digits displayed. AT&T is reporting that they are not receiving all digits some of the time. It appears to AT&T that sometimes the digits are being receive one-at-a-time (in which case all digits are received) and at other times, the digits are being received in batch as if they are being cached (in which case, some digits are dropped). When some digits are dropped, it is not necessarily from the beginning or end of the number (as in insertion/stripping) but from any point within the dialed string - and not from the same place each time.

I wonder if I there is a setting on the R300....(and if I should repost this w/ a different subject :)

Thanks.

To see if the R300 is actualy sending out digits - go to the 'diagnostics' mode prompt and type 'h225 debug 1'. I will assume the trunk type is a T1. When finished be sure to type 'h225 debug 0'. Note that the '0' turns the debugger off. Look back through the trace and you will see the digits that the R300 sent out. If you are running into the missing digits problem ONLY when using 'on-hook' dialing - we have a fix for that.

Thanks,

Yes, this is a t-1. I ran the debug but was unable to see digits on the output. It looked more like this:

2858769.61: STACK: WARNING: PerSkipBytes: Requested bytes 1
greater than 0
2858769.61: STACK: PsiFree: free'd memory at A79FA0
2858769.61: STACK: PsiFree: free'd memory at A28DA0

2858773.27: STACK: PsiMalloc: allocated 28 bytes at B871E0

Digits are only dropped when dialed from a station (have not tested 'on-hook' - only when handset is lifted - both 2500 and IP phone tested) not when doing a test call from the R300. Funny...today I can't seem to duplicate the issue..all calls going through...hmmmm.

If you could give me some insight on how to read the debugs, I'd be much appreciative.

Thanks,

Looks like things have settled on this. Outbound calling seems to be just fine except on IP phones (get busy signal - AT&T sees all digits).

Also, I'll be starting a new thread on inbound....

If you are getting a 'busy'tone when dialing, try 'list trace station', submit that then on the IP phone that has the problem (the extension number you entered in the 'list trace station' command) dial the number again. List trace should tell you why you got the busy.

The IP set does not get "active". The r300 shows digits being passed on both calls. This happens on more than one IP set - one if which is my own ext. that otherwise works quite well.
