First off, I'm no IOS expert. I need to view the bandwidth that each device hooked up to my switch is using. Is there any way I can do this?

Thanks for any suggestions you have.

 
If you want a realtime view, you can use the 'show interface' IOS command. This command usually gives you the average utilisation over the last 5 minutes for the port in question.

If you need capture and present utilisation over time, a lot of people use a product called MRTG which is free but can be complex to setup. You can download it as follows:
