View excel in word

I have recieved 5-6 Word documents that are supposed to have Excel sheets in them. When i open the documents at home i can see them but when i open the documents at work the excel sheets are missing.

What settings to i need to change on my work computer in order to have them show up?
 
It sounds like they are links. If you link Word files to Excel files on your hard drive, then take the file to work, it won't find the links. At work, you can hit the Alt-F9 keys and you should be able to see if they are links because it will show the path to the Excel file they're linking to--prolly on your hard drive...

I tried that but there is still nothing there. I have sent one of the files to a colleague and he can see them so it can't be nothing to do with a link.

It is driving me mad
