I'm using videoout to display a screen section of a pogram to live video output. I need the screen section to be bigger but not full screen. Changing the -geometry setting only adjusts the command window, not the display window. Is there a way to use media recorder or something to put a window area to output video?
 
I'm having this same problem. There seems to only be 2 sizes that are supported by videoout. I've tried changing the gemoetry size, but it only seems to change the size of the interface, not the videoout window.

I think this may have to do with the O2 not performing direct image buffering, so it's set to two specific sizes. If anyone has a way around this, I'd be interested in hearing about it as well.

If you have a Octane, Onyx, or Extreme with the good video boards, they are all capable of doing this.
