hello everybody!!! i really like this forum it seems to
be really user friendly and friendly users :)

well, i been using DW for about 4 months now and i really love it, it just makes me keep coming back for more everytime i get it to do what i want it to do (im sure you all know the feeling)

lately i been working on trying to get some video files to play off my site...is it as easy as images where you just put the video file in a folder and then link it to the "text link", users click on the text link and the video executes automatically????

-i tried testing that out and it tried to open it up like a image.

the video clips are in mpg, wav and avi formats (if that matters)

...i was just wondering if there is a tool in the 'tools' box where you just click it to insert video clips kinda like you have the one to insert images, rollover images, flash button, swv's etc....

thanks!

thanks alot bluranj, i get the idea now...

..so it was an extension!!!!!

i went and installed extensions manager and the realplayer extension except in order to get RP i have to submit cc information which i rather not do (even if its a free download for the player) ...there is the instructions page.

my site is only for my family and they aint computer literate at all and in order for them to view these clips they will have to download the RP and submit there CC information as well.hmmmmmmm!

is there anothere route i can go?? like having it open in their windows media player automatically right when they click on the link,which is already on their computers????

thanks alot guys for taking the time to read/reply.

hey guess what, two threads below this one was a post on embedded mov. i got the script and substituded one of my movies in there and it worked fine

<embed src=&quot;2030-Ep13.mov&quot; width=&quot;320&quot; height=&quot;264&quot; autoplay=&quot;true&quot; loop=&quot;false&quot; controller=&quot;true&quot; playeveryframe=&quot;true&quot; pluginspage=&quot; </embed>

now i just gotta figure out how to incorporate it into my dreamweaver page. do i paste it in the head of my docu????

ill figure it out on my own, by the way is this (embed script) a html script or xhtml or what kind is it????
