Heres the dilemma, I can capture reasonably well with the card, but only
with the software supplied, and unfort the software supplied can only do avi
or mpeg, and each of these formats it seems to be encoding as its own
special form of avi or mpeg, because no other software can read the format
(adobe premier, windows media encoder, TMPG, XP movie maker..nothing..)

I have other software which I would like to use for the capturing but they
dont quite handle the capture card 100%- for example, if the supplied
software is running and setup ready to capture, then I run the better
software it will work, (but very slow, due to both being open), however if I
only run the good software I want to use, I can not get enough
options/settings to get the capture card working. Like as if the settings
dont save for the card.

If anyone has had similar probs, or can think of things to try, would
appreciate it.

Thanks!
