how bad would it be to expose a working pc to a large quanity of vibration during use?

The hard drive heads skipping off the platter could be pretty devestating, cards vibrating loose, skipping cd's if your listening to tunes.

Is this per an earthquake or you going four-wheeling with it?

more or less, mounted pc under passenger seat, big bass system in the trunk.
