Hi All,

I created tables using VFP8 SP1 in WinXP. However I am unable to open those tables using VFP8 SP1 Win2k. Error: "Not a table". I recall that VFP8 will work in development mode using Win2k and WinXP. Does this mean I have to chose between Win2k or WinXp to develop my apps and not be able to switch between them for the same app.

Thankfull for any help.

You should be able to use your apps on every windows OS (up and until win 95) without any problems.
There must be something wrong with one of the two VFP8 installations you have.

Perhaps you should try reinstalling on both OS's.

Rob.

Thank you Rob,

I realize i could use vfp8 runtime on Win95 or higher but according to VFP8 documentation i could only develop using Win2k or WinXp. My problem is in development mode. I will however try to reinstall.

Thank again.

Fix!

I was sure I uninstalled vfp6. My shortcut was runing vfp6.exe and not vfp8.exe.

Thank again
