Vfat Error - Need Help! 1

Hello!

Suddenly, I started to get blue screen of death with VFat(1) Error started suddenly last week. I check for virus and ICQ conflicts! Nothing. The Vfat Error only Occurs after I turn off the computer for some time! I turn on the computer, it load windows. Everything seems to work fine for a while. 10, 20, 30 minutes etc. Then Blue Screen Vfat Error. I have to turn off the computer. If I keep reboot, etc. I eventually get Windows System Protection Halt.

So I decided to reformat and reinstall Windows ME. Why? i have not reinstall windows for over year. Everything went fine, then sudden the same error occur!

Vfat(1) + some numbers Blue Screen of Death.

I am wondering why suddent i keep getting this error out of the blue! I did not upgrade anything or change anything!

Also, During Reinstall.

I did Remove FDisk Patition, RE-Fdisk it and reformat it!

Sounds like your hard drive may be going bad. Visit the vendor's website and find their diagnostic utility. It should tell you right away if your drive is about to fail.
