I have a phone with a 2008 model phone. About 3 times a day around the same times every phone in the building dials that ext. and hangs up. It goes through the whole system alphabetically until it is done with every phone. I know this sounds crazy but I watched it myself.

Need more info. Are you saying that every phone initiates the call to this set? Or this set initiates a call to every phone in the building?

The reason I am asking is that if this set initiates the call then you could have something like group call going on in the system that accidentally gets triggered by the user.

It looks like 1927 is being called by every phone. We don't use group calling but is there a way I can look and see if this is setup by mistake?

post your system info for us, include ancillary stuff as well

phonz1: I'm not sure what your asking for so I know he won't.

What do you mean alphabetically?

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I think it is time to get a vendor involved like yesterday. We are not getting the whole story and it is propably going to take someone on site to trace this down when it happens. Who knows what other equipment is on this system. for all we know they could have a predictive dialer that is programmed incorrectly. Who knows.

Thanks everyone. I called a vendor yesterday afternoon with this one. They think it my have something to do with Call Pilot broadcaster feature we will find out and I will post it. Thanks again

I doubt it is CP related.

Unless it's a CP agent 2008 phone he was referring to all this time!!!

If he provided a TNB you would have seen that....

OK lets see if I can explain this right. I have a Call Parrot system that we just upgraded by adding more ports. The Talc Card we installed replaced an existing digital line card we already had. Well she was getting calls from every other phone that was on that card that is now the TALC card. My rep outed the phone and rebuilt it and we are waiting to see if it happens again. Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen?

Your original post said it got calls from every phone in the building, now it's only from that card?

A Call Parrort is a recording device, I don't see how it could initiate calls.

Maybe they only have 16 phones in the building. :)

it's hard to imagine someone could mistake every phone in the building for just every phone on 1 card lol
