Hi,

I just installed a small network with
- Windows 2003 server + active directory
- Small bussiness server (only MS-exchange installed)
- Windows XP professional client pc's

When I boot the pc's start-up takes about 3 minutes !
'applying your personal settings' is the message on the
screen...
There are no problems in the log files on the server.
There are only 5 pc's attached !

Anyone had the same problem ?

Best regards,
Tony

Either your DHCP or static network settings at fault or it is not caching the profile locally first I'll bet. If it is using DHCP, try adding a static address to test.

I had a similar problem and I was able to fix it by moving the client PC's to a Switch instead of a Hub. How are these clients setup on the domain (structural wise)
