Hi All,

Iam using Crystal Reports ver 8.0, for reporting purposes. I had been using Crystal Reports Active X control in my VB form for displaying the report.

But recently i have upgraded to ver 9.0.

Problem is Active X control is no longer there. Has it been removed in ver 9.0. I needed confirmation before i recode my forms.

is there any way to overcome it ...

Regards

Natesh

Hi Ido,

Iam working with Crystal Report Control ( Crystal32.ocx) in ver 8.

is this control still available in ver 9

Thanx

I believe it was completely dropped in V9.

Cheers,

CD have been recommending that we migrated our OCX code to the RDC since CR7.

CR9 does not include the OCX, so you'll need to make that step now. The RDC is superior to the OCX even if it requires a bit more code to get working.

Contact me direct (bruce@chelseatech.co.nz) and I'll give a few pointers how to make the migration relatively painless. Editor and Publisher of Crystal Clear
