version 9.1 and Netware 6.5 sp3

I recently installed new exabyte VXA-1 drives on our NW6.5 servers with Backup exec 9.1. When trying to start a backup I get a drive failure error 24623. I have tested the drives with exatool.nlm and they all pass, any suggestions????
