The new version of postgresql will be 8.0.0, and now it goes in Beta 1 stage!!! ) congratulations

Hi ceco,

I installed the new beta of PostgreSQL on my dual boot Window XP/Linux desktop computer using the new Window installer. The new window installer is great. It installed PostgreSQL and PgAdm III and set PostgreSQL to run as a service on my Windows XP Pro partition. It's very nice. The PostgreSQL team is to be highly congratulated.

Although I use Linux as my primary OS, it's nice to know there is a native port of PostgreSQL under Windows. Hopefully the window version of PostgreSQL will generate curiosity of PostgreSQL under Unix and Linux where PostgreSQL is most efficient.
