version 3.21 date 2005

I am having problem with 2005 date in running reports & posting, I can not use a date range from 2004 to 2005 to run reports nor could I do posting using other than today's date 2005.

I call support & they can't help me since I have an old version of 3.21.

Anyone have a solution other then upgrade?
