Anyone using an adsl wic w/ verizon dsl service? Can the wic be used with the dsl modem or should the wic be set to bridge.

so you would probably want to keep the modem in bridged mode, and do the pppoe config on the router right

ive never used an adsl wic before, does it have a rj11 or rj 45 connection?

rj11. I decided to use a 2nd Ethernet wic and hook the dsl modem to it and just have it negotiate the ip. 2620

ok cause if its rj11.. then i would think that you wouldn't need the modem any more then. go straight into the wic with it,.

what are the adsl wics worth? i would like to get one i think.

about 600 buck. you can try cablexpress.com ebay also. If your using it for home use don't bother spending the money just get a static ip.
