Dear All,

I am very new to the world of CF, so am slowly stumbling my way through a basic intranet project. I am using CF 4.5.1 and would like to know how to use Verity to index a directory of Word files on a network drive to which I have relevant permissions.

If I set IIS to allow directory browsing, I can see all of the documents I wish to index, and open them in the web browser. I can also run ASP scripts there. But when I try to run CF pages from this directory, or to index it, I get a 'permission denied' message in the CF admin. It seems to me that IIS can access the resource, but CF cannot. I have set up a map in the CF admin to the directory (a mapped network drive), but to no avail. I have tried mapping it to the drive letter, and the full UNC path.

Any advice would be most appreciated!

Many thanks,

Tom
