I have a feeling I'm going to feel pretty stupid when someone points out an obvious answer, but I've been digging for two hours and my brain is locked.
I've got 3 servers set up to function as backup servers via Veritas 9.1. My ultimate goal is to strip data out of the Veritas db to produce custom reports. I set up one of the servers and I can access the dbs/tables just fine. NOTE - SQL was already installed on this machine. However, another admin set up the other two servers and I can't find the tables ANYWHERE. He doesn't recall installing SQL.
I can see that SQL is a named instance and I can see the data/log files, but I don't see that SQL has been installed on these machines. I cannot find Enterprise Manager, nor can I register these servers through another EM. I don't even see SQL in Add/Remove programs.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.
-If it ain't broke, break it and make it better.
