I have a windows 2000 Advance server running on a Dell Server running BE 9.1 with a Dell DTL7000 AutoLoader.
The server crashed and the motherboard had to be replaced.
Now the mb is installed and the server is running but when in installed BE 9.1 and setup the backup process like it was before the crash, I keep getting I/O errors.
It will backup about 2gig worth of data onto a DLT IV tape.
I am now faced with having to pull some data off of tapes that were created before the motherboard went out and not having any luck.
I read a post where some were having issues with the Veritas Drivers so I am currently uninstalling BE 9.1 and will re-install using Microsoft Drivers instead of Veritas drivers.
The only error message in the Event Log is ID 15, The Device, \Device\Tape0, is not ready for access yet
This error message gets logged with all operations within BE 9.1 (wether I try to do a small test backup or try to restore files, or catalog a tape).
Any help is welcomed.
