Veritas Backup Exec 9.1 backup exec service stops

The backup exec service stops when scheduled jobs kick off. If the jobs are ran manually they work. Updated device drivers, deleted and recreated the tape drive and library,updated symbol files, cleaned the drive and made sure tapes are overwritable. Firmware is up to date on the tape drive. At first the jobs were going to queue each night and not running but after doing all the above now the first job keeps off but then the backup exec service stops responding. This is on Windows 2000 Server. There are five scheduled jobs.

Have installed SP1? and recent hofixes. I think I recall a recent hotfix that addressed an issue with the Backup Exec Job engine service stopping.
