Veritas 9.1, "Other Error" backup status failed

Hi guys

Everyone seems to be having backup problems including me. I'm new to 9.1 and got this error today on a backup :

I'm not sure about this other errors, error. Doesn't seem to be very helpful! Any ideas!

I've asked around on this, a little, and people say I might have to reinstall veritas, seems a little drastic! Failed again today with around the same byte count and same vague error message!

Been on the phone to vertias!

They say could be any number of things, they checked my diagnostic file, which I sent to them, and found that my system partation was very low on free space (boy do I feel stupid).

Also same scsi controller running hard disk and backup device which as we know isn't clever, but backup has been working for a long time like this!

I'm doing some house keeping now on the system drive, I'll let everyone know how I get on!

Just to let anyone who looked at this post know, the disk space on the system drive sorted this out. Something to look out for if you have a very old server with stupid sized system partition of 2gig!

Veritas say you need a gig free just for it to work ok. I couldn't manage that much but nearly 600mb worked a treat anyway!

Hope this helps someone as doesn't look like anyone else had come across the problem!
