I'm thinking that they mean to check your clock synchronization source. Go to the Network Synchronization form and set it to the PRI circuit PLID.
Then in the Maintenance commands type NETSYNC STATE. This will tell you what the sync source is, ie. auto or freerun or source X. Auto should work or you can set it to sync off the first source in the Network Synchronization form.
So I recieved from new info from the telco and am wondering if anyone knows how to interpret thier circuit jargon...such as ES-N, CV-N, SES-N.....I recieved the following info from the CLEC:
Now, according to the SPM card in our switch we ARE seeing some errors coming in all the time:
This means that we arent seeing any errors on the T1 level (Line Code Violations, Path Code Violations).. We also aren't seeing any Unavailable Seconds (time when we don't see the equipment)..
The errors we see would most likely be caused by Timing issues.. Your equipment would need to be set to time off of our T1, not a different one or Internal Timing..
Are you seeing any errors on your equipment? Are you set to Time off of our T1? Is your equipment setup for Framing=ESF and Linecoding=B8ZS?
They are saying that the errors are most likely caused by "timing issues". I feel like this is complete speculation since the PRI has worked for 7 months without issue until just last week. Does anyone know how to interpret these values
