Verify Permissions

How often should I run the utility to verify disk permissions? Is once a month enough? I don't install and de-install a lot of programs.

It's sort of "whatever". I"m responsible a small group of macs and permissions are never checked. I guess, if some problems arose with the machines, we'd do it but we haven't had problems - over a period of years.

Checking permissions can't hurt, but I'm not really sure if it matters that much.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

Repair permissions at least once a month.
