My company is asking me to research the price for extra wireless 3410 phones. I got a quote from a vendor saying that they'd cost about $500 per phone. My company is looking to buy about 40, but not spend 20,000 doing so. I believe I am getting ripped off, especially since I've seen these phones on the hips of movie rental clerks and hospital nurses. If there is another vendor out there with a more reasonable price, I am sure one of you experts out there can help.

NavyJake,
These phones are not at all inexpensive. I am fairly well acquainted with both the list price and wholesale prices of the Spectralink products, and I would expect that, based on the total cost of the system, the average price that you would pay per set would be close to $700. This assumes that you take the systems total cost (40ea phones, 3ea 150 MCUs, at least 4ea base stations, plus other required hardware) divided by 40.

If your vendor is in this price range or better, I would think that you are getting a reasonable price.

We dont need any Base stations, nor MCU. Everything is already covered. We need only install and programing. We are trying to expand our current wireless rack. I just cant believe that these "brick" phones cost so much. I mean theyre huge, so few features...
Thanks for the help.
