Velocis DB date formats

Does anyone know what the conversion is for the date format in the Velocis database? For example, if a session starttime is 876059669, that translates to 1/23/2006 7:32:42 PM, and an endtime of 876060056 translates to 1/23/2006 7:44:48 PM. It doesn't appear to be a simple time lapse, as the difference of 387 does not equate to the 126 seconds difference in the actual time.

We are running BrightStor Enterprise Backup version r11.5.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you want to know in the first place (and no I don't know the answer)?

If it is for reporting - why not generate your own custom report using the ARCserve report generator?

I want to write a script that will report on a set of backup jobs with statistics. The report generator is not that flexible. Also, I'd like to automate this funtion, and the report generator doesn't seem to provide that capability. Careports provides the automation, but not the reporting I want done.

The report generator is the only way you're going to achieve this - what is it exactly you want in the report ?

Like you say the automation is there, you just schedule a careports commandline using the generic job scheduler when you want it to run, an example of using the generic job scheduler wizard can be found in this doc:

This doc shows the example of device management, however, in the drop down for 'Run this program' an option is available for careports also (which is just the command line version of the GUI).

Or convert from VLDB to SQL and then you can do whatever you like.
