Vector Route to step

Hi there, I am just trying to confirm a vector step that someone has documented in a CM 2.2 system. In the vector there are a number of route to steps which if the conditions are met (ani in vrt table) the call routes to an off net number. There is then another step which routs to a vdn. The only time a call will route to the vdn rather than the off net number is if the off net number is busy or doesnt answer, at least this is what the existing documentation states. Am I incorrect in saying that you are not able to check busy or not answered in a vector step as if the call routes off net then the vector processing has completed and the vector no longer has control of the call. If someone could clarify this for me it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Richard

We also route some calls off net and it works as you understand. If the call successfully routes off net, vector processing stops. If it is not successful, you want the call answered, so you route it back to an internal agent. Checking the vdn daily will let you know how successful your off net routing is. We had to add a wait step 5 sec to allow time for call to successfully complete.
