Vector collect digits timing 1

How do I shorten the amount of time in a vector, from when it [collects digits =1] to when it [routes to] a hunt extension.
After hearing the initial announcement I press 1 and it takes about 10 seconds then it goes to the next step.

It should route imeadiately. It sounds like you have the vector designed incorrectly (i.e. asking to collect 4 digits when you really only expect 1 will make the caller wait for the interdigit timeout waiting for the next 3 digits). Post the vector and we can help you.
