-ve % format...How to???

Hi

I am in an urgent need to display the negative %ge format.

When i change the format as %ge the negative values are also shown as positive %ge value.

Pls somebody help to show the values as -ve %ge value.

I'm not sure about the ge in %ge (maybe a typo or a language issue), but to show any number in negative, just add the - in front of the format. To get a paranthetical negative add parentheses before and after the negative format, add a space after the zero (to preserve alignment), and add a '_)' after the postive format. I wish Cognos would get with it and add these to the drop down list.
