I am having the following issue. I've set up an 800 number that rings to a 4 digit DNIS on a Definity G3si. I've set up the vdn to be 8388 and point it to vector 1. I test the 800 number and it rings to where I want it to, but it doesn't display the VDN name so that the called party knows what type of call it is. Anybody, please help. Thanks.

Try changing the Allow VDN Override field on the VND form. If it is y change to n or if it is a n change to y.

I tried that and i'm getting something else on the display and i'm not quite sure where its being pulled from. Its strange.

do you have the DNIS setup as an x ported extension? if so check that the vdn name is in the name field of the extension ie

8388

Name field: vdn XXXXXX

To error is human.....if the machine doesnt work, then KICK IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried something a little different from what you had said above and it worked. Thanks alot telnettech. I appreciate it.
