In the vector below, "Measured:" is assigned the "both" option. Can someone explain to me the dif between "internal" and "external".

VECTOR DIRECTORY NUMBER

Extension: 36021
Name: 36021
Vector Number: 26
Attendant Vectoring? n
Allow VDN Override? n
COR: 81
TN: 1
Measured: both

Thank you.

'internal' means that the BCMS (and if used VuStats) package will record information on this VDN, 'external' means that information will be passed to the (external) CMS. With 'both' saving the information to both packages.

In general you can monitor more VDNs on the CMS than on the BCMS with the different software loads having their respective system limits.

Hope this is what you're looking for.
